MCGOVERN PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSOCIATES ENHANCES PATIENT SERVICES WITH NEW TALENT

May 17, 2004 – McGovern Physical Therapy Associates, a multidisciplinary provider of physical therapy and chiropractic care, announces that it has enhanced its resources by adding a new therapist to its team. Sean M. Flaherty, PT, has joined the practice as a Staff Therapist.

“We welcome new and talented individuals, whom I am confident will increase our effectiveness as a full service physical therapy provider,” says Kevin J. McGovern, PT, CSCS, president of McGovern Physical Therapy Associates. “The experience our new employee brings us will give our company an exciting new perspective when treating patients together.”

Mr. Sean M. Flaherty, PT, will practice in the Revere clinic. Mr. Flaherty will be responsible for all therapeutic care including evaluation and treatment of a varied community of patients. Sean joins the company with over eight years of clinical experience from outpatient settings, hospitals and home care settings. Mr. Flaherty earned his degree in physical therapy from Northeastern University. He is originally from Pittsfield, MA but is currently a resident of Boston, MA. Sean is an avid golfer in his spare time.

McGovern Physical Therapy Associates is located at 385 Broadway, Suite 205, on the second floor of the Citizen’s Bank building in Revere, MA. Please call 781-485-1001 to schedule appointments. McGovern Physical Therapy Associates is also located at 350 Main Street, on the first floor of the Commerce Place Building, in Malden, MA. Appointments can be made there by calling 781-321-2727. Both offices are open Monday through Friday, 8AM to 8PM, and are accepting new patients with appointments available within 24 hours.
